Update on Momma... will be running some more extensive testing to try and narrow down the broad spectrum of problems she is facing. So far she is: 1. Being treated for a bacteria infection in her bloodstream. 2. One of the test show elevated Kidney function so they will be taking measures to protect her kidneys while doing a CT Scan using a contrast dye. This test is very risky in the fact that if her kidneys dont respond and flush the dye out then she will have to be on dialysis 3. They did an echo cardiogram on her today but have ordered a more extensive one to check on her valve because they think she also has endocarditis. 4. They will also be doing a CT Scan of the cervical spine to get a better picture of what is going on. She is unable to do a MRI due to her heart valve. 5. They ordered her meds and a specialty bed to help heal the deep tissue bed sore that she has. 6. They ordered a CT Scan of the abdomen to get a better look at the mass on and around her kidney While there is so much more going on here this is what I was able to find out thus far. Her pain is severe and is centrally located in her neck. Hoping the path they are on right now will lead to a road that gives her relief from the neck pain.
