Update on Mr. Buttons: Buttons went through a surgery where they flushed the urethra so the gravel and stones will go back into the bladder and from there, the bladder is drained and he is sent home with a new diet and medication for any bacteria that might could build up and cause further problems, while the bladder heals. The only problem was, there was a large stone caught in the urethra that was obstructing the flow of his urine that is lodged inside the urethra. Buttons has not eaten since Friday evening nor taken anything by mouth. He is receiving IVs and a Catheter is still in the bladder and urethra, helping him expel any urine so it does not back up and shut down the kidneys. This is all they can do, here at this clinic. The VERGI 24 hour emergency and critical care hospital, where Mr. Buttons is getting treatment, is on I 10 and Bingle. Any help anyone would want to do would be appreciated. I put down 2000.00 when I admitted him and they donated another 350.00 which will be used up, this evening. In the meantime, I am speaking directly with Terry Stiles, who is the director of the small animal division of A & M and he is getting Buttons transferred to the Small Animal Hospital at 979 845 2351. I will be taking him, myself, by car. He is the most special little dog to me and I am hoping and praying for the very best. They are reducing the bill down from 4000.00, but I am not sure how much, but will allow me to make a payment plan. God is so very good! Please pray for my precious little Buttons and also for a safe journey to the hospital. Dr Kelly Thieman, in Brian will be performing the surgery to remove this huge stone from Buttons Urethra. After this, he will be good to go, hopefully. Love you guys!
