♥Update on Paul♥ Wednesday, April 2, 2014... Paul is still stable. They got him up yesterday in a lounger chair with a hoyer lift., but he had major issues with moving with the tracheostomy when putting him in the chair and lifting him back up to put him back to bed. He got anyother mucos plug and could not breathe and they had to call a stat for respiratory therapy. Just not worth the problems with the tracheostomy so we wont do that again, Felt so bad for him. He was up for 5 hours even though he slept most of the time. He could not participate much today with Physical Therapy. I think he was having an off day. We are still waiting to hear if Pathways Rehab. still has a bed. Insurance Co. dragged everything out for a whole week and there are waiting lists at most rehabs so the bed they had is probably gone now, but all we have is time I guess. At least he was temporarily approved although we have nothing in writing yet, Actually we never got a reason for the 3 denials in writing either and no one has contacted me regarding allowing me to appeal the Sunnyview admission which is where I really wanted him to go. The coma stimulus program would have been perfect for him I think. We were moved to a larger room yesterday. The room number is G355A, right next door. Let Go and Let God is what I say...
