Update on Pepper: We went back to Vet today for more fluids and antibiotic shot. Thats 5 days already....and hes getting sore from all the sticks. Vet said we would do this again Tues. and Wed. to give him a fighting chance. He did eat a little mashed potatoes and frozen yogurt today (only about 1/4 cup.....given in small increments) but thats a start. He is very weak and his legs will hardly hold him up at times. But doesnt seem to be in pain....except from the sticks. Im not giving up on him yet. His liver and pancreatic enzymes were a little elevated and hes also on meds for that. But mostly mouth infection, I think, that started the problems. Then with the depression and arthritis....just got worse.
