Update on Tom. His back surgery was successful. He was in a lot of pain last night after he got back from recovery but with meds and sleep he was able to with the help of pt sit up on the side of the bed with feet on ground. Tomorrow they are hoping to have him stand. One day at a time. Will have to be discharged to rehab for probably a few weeks and then outpatient rehab. Prayers still needed for continued recovery
