Update on broken ankle: I have been in a boot for 7 weeks. 4 weeks ago the x-ray showed no healing. Today the x-ray is still showing no healing. The doctor said it may take a year to heal or it may never heal. Since currently I have no pain we are going to ahead and proceed to physical therapy for a minimum of 7 weeks with the goal to gradually get out of the boot and strengthen the ligaments to prevent a future injury. We are just taking it one day at a time and see how the ankle responds. First therapy appointment is Friday. There is light at the end of the end of the tunnel!!
