Update on my LE trade-in post from yesterday. I went back to my distributor, showed them that I miss the crack in the previous gun, no questions asked , they were surprised they missed the crack as well. Simply stated they were sorry and would immediately give me a replacement. In fact I got a trade-in that was better then the previous one and I got to hand pick it. After completely stripping this gun down and looking through it, I would say this is well under a 1500 round handgun. The only mark I could find on the gun is the small scratch on the left side of the gun next to Austria. As you can see on the pictures theres almost no barrel wear, the original sights 03 still have the paint markings on them, and the mag well has no gouges from reloads. Having been a department armor and having literally hundreds of Glocks threw my hands over the years, this gun was more than likely a replacement gun for when the primary gun was in for service. Shot very little, carried even less. I could not even see any holster wear. The distributor will simply send the crack frame gun back to Glock, they will refurbihed it, add a new frame and send it back to the distributor. The distributor can then sell it has a factory refurbished gun and make more money on it. Win win for me, win win for them. -DL
