Update on my dad, Hospice has said most likely not last 24 to 72 hours due to his heart and lung function. He could make it til the weekend but he is so weak, at our request and dads they placed a magnet on his defibrillator to shut it off today, it was stressful for him due to the rhythm changes made him uncomfortable for about 5 min..his left lung has no breath sounds and the right lung is filling with fluid. Dad has a bad heart and his lungs are bad so the fluid will most likely get him..he is on meds to keep him comfortable and thats all we can do..I wanted to say thank you to all those who have called and sent me pm and texted..and special thanks to Ruth Whaley and Kim Berry and Kenney Davis aka Monkey man, and Candy and Shirley, Linda and Vida, and Micheal and Jerry for checking on and visiting my dad and so many others to. I love you all my heart is breaking its so painful to watch a loved one suffer and be the one to give the meds..those of you who have done it understand...its very hard..just know we love you all thank you for all the wonderful comments. .
