Update on our charity: water goal -- as of this moment, weve raised $6,286 -- woot woot!!! For those of you who have not been keeping up with our charity: water project - I embarked on a journey with some friends to raise $10,000 in 90 days to drill a well in an underprivileged village in either Cambodia or Ethiopia. The well will give an entire village access to clean water which will prompt everything else that matters (safety, hygiene, health, education, work, etc.). Our 90 days ends on December 31. Please go to my.charitywater.org/thehope4water to keep up with how were doing and (gasp!) maybe even donate! I owe some big THANK YOUs to some of my friends and family who have already donated, including Chuck Corbett, Jeanne Reiter Nelson, Brent and Aimee Hibbard, Reggie Martin and Joy Ganes, Alice Martinson, Kelly and Keven Vining, and Kathryn Kosinski!!! Some things that were doing to continue to raise money: 1. TOMORROW - Wine and Food for Charity? - 12/3 - Come eat at the Village Grill (villagegrillraleigh) and 5% of the sales will go to our cause! (Bring friends!) 2. RESTAURANT TAKE OVER - 12/10 - Come eat at the OC Bar and Grill. If you mention charity: water, 20% of your sales will benefit our cause! (Bring lots of friends!) 3. SANTAS SITTERS - need a babysitter ANY time this holiday season? Email/inbox me for more -- we have 7 way over qualified babysitters waiting to care for your children for a donation to charity!!
