Update on the Manresa issue. As of yesterday, a new Stop Work Order was issued. As you will note, the Stop Work Order issued yesterday, though listed as a Partial Stop Work Order, specifically says no site clearing permitted. It is, therefore, different than the previous Partial Stop Work Order, which specificallyallow[ed] site clearing. As of now, according to the Department of Buildings, the only work allowed on the property is asbestos abatement work in buildings 1A and 1D. On October 9, I wrote to DOB asking for an expansion of the Partial Stop Work Order to stop all work on the property. On October 3, I wrote to the Department of Investigation to direct all agencies to not issue permits and rescind any that have already been issued until all of the questions we have are answered.
