The recovered items included gold, diamond and silver jewellery, clothing, mobile handsets, laptops and other electronic devices. “This initiative, to create awareness among people when crimes are solved, was started by retired DGP Ajai Kumar Singh to build faith in the police. The police are no James Bonds to solve a crime immediately. It takes persistent hard work and some luck to solve crimes.
