Day 2 - October 18, 2013 - Friday - Finished Feast of Tabernacles Set-up & prepare for the weekly Shabbat/1st Day of Succoth. Feast of Tabernacles Day 1-8 - Saturday - October 19, 2013 thru Saturday - October 26, 2013 (Feast over at sunset Saturday - October 26, 2013) Day 8 - Saturday October 26, 2013 after sunset - Volunteers needed to Pack U-haul truck with equipment and clean-up Dining Hall-Kitchen, Restrooms and Meeting Hall. Cabin Occupants are required to sweep and mop their cabin before leaving camp. Day 9 - Sunday - October 27, 2013 - Cabin Occupants are required to sweep and mop their cabin before leaving camp. ALL CABINS MUST BE VACATED by 10:00 am Sunday October 26, 2013 The Congregation of YHWH Irving Texas will again, on October 19th thru October 26th, 2013, host a Feast of Tabernacles/Succoth at Lake Murray State Park near Ardmore, Oklahoma, three (3) miles east of Interstate 35 on State Highway 70. ( Note: 1st HolyDay begins at sunset on October 18th, 2013 and the 8th Day ends at sunset on the Last Great Day October 26th, 2013. Group Camp # 2 Free cabins will be available for occupancy beginning at 2 pm on Thursday October 17, 2013. (First come -First Served basis) After Sunset on October 26th we will need volunteers to help clean buildings, take down and pack all chairs, sukkas, sound & video equipment. The Group Camp Cabin check out time is 10 am or earlier on the morning of 10/27/13. In 2013 We will again be using Group Camp # 2 GROUP CAMP #2 INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING: Kitchen/Dining Hall Recreation/Meeting Hall Two Buildings with separate Men & Women Restrooms/Showers with Hot & Cold Water Primitive Cabins - 25+ Cabins w/full bath - 2 (2-3 bedrooms with doors) RV/Tent full hookups - NOT AVAILABLE Cabins: One Dorm type cabin - sleep 10 (it has a fireplace- bring your own wood) Several smaller - cabins sleep 6 (stack metal beds to one side and erect a free standing tent(no stakes) inside cabin- ) 2 Cabins with full bath - separate bedrooms(available for handicap and special needs - a reservation application is required - call 800-687-0150 toll free to reserve a cabin with full bath.) Cabin Amenities include: All Cabins are primitive - no kitchen or bathrooms All cabins come with a metal frame single/twin bed military type bed with a twin bed vinyl covered mattress (Mattresses Recondition in 2012) (plenty to choose from - we found that they sleep real well) ( beds can be pushed together to form a full size/double bed). Dorm Cabins - Glass windows and solid wood doors - Electric lights - Electric outlets - with fireplace (the park discourages bringing your own wood 09-22-13) all remaining cabins - windows only have screens & w/wood shutters - Screen Door - Electric lights - Electric outlets - without fireplace (Electric Heaters are no longer permitted in Cabins) If it turns cold it will be chilly in the cabins in the mornings. Group Camp #2 Restrooms are semi-modern (Flush Toilet & Hot Shower) This year we found that the cabins were the equivalent of living in a camping tent and the same camping equipment is needed. Sleeping Bag ( if cold natured then include extra Quilts & Blankets) Air Bed/mattress (if uncomfortable with idea of using the available vinyl covered mattresses) Cot ( If uncomfortable with idea of the metal bed frame) (Electric Heaters are no longer permitted in Cabins)Be advised that the Cabin floors & walls are made of very dry wood, when considering alternative heating. 09-22-13 Towels & Wash Cloths Linens - twin size sheets-blankets-quilts temporary curtains (Dorm Cabins windows - 24" x 36") screen door curtain - 36" x 84" (cheap plastic shower curtain over the door works) The best part is that the primitive Dorm & screen door cabins are free of charge on a [b]first come basis.
