Updated information for people who have been asking what they can do to help with pets affected by last weeks tornado. Maumelle Friends of the Animals (shelter) is the group in charge of these pets. They say the public support has been wonderful with supplies, but they desperately need assistance with their veterinary bills for these pets. If you would like to help with this, you can send them a check made out to the Maumelle Friends of the Animals, 425 Hyman Drive, Maumelle, AR 72113. They say anything we can do is so greatly appreciated. Its just such a sad situation for these pets and their families. If you can send anything, please do. And thank you!!
