Upon reading this posting got me thinking to my younger days and what Pittsburgh and the environs were like-Smoke, Blast Furance Heat, Soot, Deafing sounds of Industry-Shrill of Coal Driven Trains, Crowded streets, Houses that Almost touched, Sounds of Persons speaking different Languages. Smells of Foods from Foreign Lands. Today, Pittsburgh a model city in so many ways. Now the cherry on top on my Pittsbugh Sundae would be A World Series, Super Bowl and a Stanley Cup in the coming months!!
