Upon reflection of last nights show, if Im going to give an honest report/review of myself? I was sloppy, hectic, and unpolished on stage. My material came out in weird bursts and disorganized chunks like someone hit puree on the mental blender. That happens sometimes after Im on hiatus for a few weeks. It is only with morning clarity I realize what I was doing: Avoiding the jokes I tell about Mom on stage. Yeah, it was a short set. Tonight and both shows Saturday I get to do my full Headliner set, but I am just praying to the comedy gods that when those jokes surface in my set I hold my shit together. Mom LOVED those jokes. I wouldve never kept them had she NOT been okay with them. Big Girl Panties time, folks.
