Upon the ACLU publicly addressing Baltimore County Government about their photo ban at Baltimore County Animal Services, the county responded in various ways that picture taking was allowed. A couple weeks ago a fellow animal lover visited the shelter and took some pictures. This person then put their graphic design skills to use and networked their pictures through numerous social media outlets. The pictures were shared at record rates and lucky for Handsome Elton, his new family saw his picture, fell in love and was successfully adopted! One picture can be that picture that SAVES A LIFE!! Thank you to this fellow animal lover for the pictures, and to Eltons new family for choosing adoption. We look forward to the county to continuing to collaborate with talented residents such as the one that donated their time for these pictures. When we work together, everybody wins.
