Urban Farmgirl is happy to support the Life Recovery Program of the Rockford Rescue Mission. Our partnership with them is such an awesome thing! We brainstorm on ideas and come up with craft the women in the Art Therapy program can create for the shop and then they make it come to life! This week we are showcasing garland made from repurposed shirts. Each and every piece is from a garment that would otherwise have been discarded because of flaws or missing buttons. I love that! Everything has a use and can be beautiful! We only have a few of the white garland left, and there are two in dark plaid that are on a tree - the rest have already sold out this weekend! Come out and support these amazing women working to change their lives! We are open until 4 today!
