I would appreciate it if ALL my Facebook friends would be kind enough to spend 5 minutes reading the following post, which has been on my mind since before Christmas. WHICH WAY NOW, FOR LOYAL ULSTER? I was recently invited to the Annual Party Conference of the TUV (Traditional Unionist Voice), which I duly attended in County Antrim on Saturday 29 November. Ever since the DUP went into a power-sharing administration with the blood-stained dirt of provisional sinn fein ira, I have been a staunch supporter and admirer of Jim Allister - and the courageous stance which he has taken - but I feared Jim was something akin to a one man band, who, despite his brilliance, and sharp legal mind, would only ever have a limited impact on the sham being played out at Stormont. I am glad to say, since attending the Party Conference, I am no longer of that opinion. Whilst I was there, not only did I see hundreds of like-minded Unionists, who are sick of the hypocrisy of the DUP leadership, but I also engaged in conversation with numerous folk in the lunchtime interval, who were of the exact same opinion as myself, that this shameful situation has gone on for long enough, and that it is time to draw a line in the sand. The Conference was addressed by a succession of young, articulate, newly-elected Councillors, who currently number 13 in total. A small start, you may think, but I shouldnt need to remind you that 13 was enough for the Defenders of Derry in 1688. In addition to Jim Allisters strong leadership, the party also boasts a wealth of political experience in the form of Willie Ross, Jack McKee, Roy Gillespie, and numerous others. Like many of you, I have personal friends who, for various reasons, have remained within the DUP, and I still regard them as good friends, however I have nothing but contempt for the likes of the Paisley, Robinson, and Dodds political dynasties, and the direction in which they have taken the party which I used to support. I am now convinced, beyond any doubt whatsoever, that Traditional Unionist Voice are the only political force capable of halting the surrender of Our Beloved Ulster, and putting a stop to the obscene tirade of concessions which successive British governments have poured on the psychotic provisional movement, whose primary objective is the destruction of all that we, as Ulster Loyalists, hold dear. Since being elected to Stormont in 2011, Jim Allister has been a constant thorn in the side of the DUP/PSFIRA love-in, and in the absence of an official opposition, Jim has held them to account at every opportunity. Just think of the impact that a handful of TUV MLAs would have in the Assembly! That scenario is very achievable, with your help and support.
