Urgent Notice: The Association of Syrian Refugees is preparing to file criminal charges against Mr. Tamman Salam, Prime Minister of the Lebanese Government; General Joe Kahwaji, Commanding General of the Lebanese Army, and all parties involved in the attack on Syrian refugees in Lebanon. Preparations have already been completed for the legal office of the ASR to file a claim with the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, upon approval of the Syrian Coalition, that states the following: • We, the Legal Office of the Association of Syrian Refugees, as representative of the Plaintiff; the Syrian Refugees in Lebanon, charge the Defendants; Mr. Tamman Salam, General Joe Kahwaji, and all parties involved in the attack on Syrian refugees in Lebanon,with crimes against humanity. • In addition, we request that the esteemed court of the ICC assign an international team of investigators to conduct a criminal investigation of the events in Lebanon in order to uncover the truth of who is responsible for the crimes that have been committed against Syrian refugees on Lebanese soil. The ASR will soon be publishing further instructions for those refugees who have been affected by the events in Lebanon regarding the proper channels of communication to use in contacting the ASR if they wish to be added to the Plaintiff party in this case.
