Urgent Part 2 - Urgent Death Row Dogs shared a photo. *** AWESOME AVERAGE RATED SENIOR LUCKY*** Lucky isnt very lucky lately. His previous owners dumped him at a high kill shelter where he is on the list to be euthanized tomorrow. Lucky is an older gentleman, at 10 years of age who has to compete with younger dogs for a chance to live. As an owner of a few senior dogs, I can tell you that seniors have sparkle, shine, wisdom, and awesome manners. Lucky needs you to adopt him and let him live out his days in perfect harmony. It isnt Luckys fault his owners decided to move without him, so why should he have to pay the price with his life? Open your heart and your home to this great guy and let his love light fill your days with joy! Lucky is available on the public risk list, do not wait another second to meet the man of your dreams, Lucky will thank you and so will I! A volunteer writes: Lucky, yes, it is his real name, is very silent and immobile in his arrival kennel. Owned all his long life, this elderly gentleman finds himself confined to a small space when he used to roam free in a dwelling and never was without a family member. He even thought of himself as a person, says his former master...understanding orders when they were explained to him. Lucky shared his life peacefully with other pets and was friendly to everybody around. One sin or flaw, Lucky is an insect chaser. Lucky is majestic. He might have some calluses but he seems to have been well cared for. His coat is well groomed and pure chocolate. I love his golden eyes. Lucky walks slowly. Everything is new to him and he sniffs his premises a lot, the yard and the streets around the care center. He marks his territory a little but meets other dogs in a very civil way. He does not want my treats but sits close to me in the park and listens carefully to what I have to say to him. Life has unexpected turns , little boy. We never know what it has in store for us. Whatever happens, enjoys the time you will have with each of us who will have the honor to walk you, such a noble dog. Lucky seems to still have a few more years in front of him if he meets his match, a person who can appreciate an older but handsome and faithful family dog. Lucky is at the Manhattan Care center.
