Urgent Prayers and Help are still needed for the victims of super typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) that left millions homeless, thousands dead and their homes destroyed on November 8. This typhoon is so far the strongest ever on record to make landfall. Latest updates report at least 5,670 deaths, 4,883 dead bodies recovered from Leyte alone, 26,233 injured and thousands more remain missing. The total number of casualties and damage to properties is so extensive that recovery and rebuilding remains a major challenge. As of November 30, statistics reveal that 2,325,638 families were affected by the super typhoon and 1,168,106 residential houses destroyed, including hundreds of houses of worship. Thank the Lord for the countries responding with humanitarian aid, food, medicines, tents, blankets, military and medical personnel, and search and rescue volunteers helping in the recovery and rebuilding process. GOD is good and gracious to all who call upon HIM. Please ask your family and friends to donate funds and continue to pray for the suffering people of the Philippines who are struggling due to a series of strong typhoons, a magnitude 7.8 earthquake and this recent super typhoon. Millions need help and our prayers. Christians In Crisis (CIC) Ministry is coordinating an outreach with our missions partners in The Philippines and were working on a trip to the Philippines sometime on February-March 2014. Please open the attachment file for more details. Thank you and may GOD bless you! Sincerely In CHRIST, Pastor Wally
