Used our Salt Block yesterday to make some flatbread. To show off how much radiant heat the blocks hold, we heated them in the oven and when temperature was reached shut the oven off and pulled the block out. We then placed the dough directly on the block and watched the bread bake, flipping it to make sure it was cooked all the way through. We hope you enjoyed this demonstration! Our salt blocks are a great way to add fun to cooking or have to present food such a shrimp cocktails or melted chocolate. You can place them on a grill or in the oven and cook directly on them.
