Using the Appleman chart, flightradar24 and earth.nullschool.net - TopicsExpress

Using the Appleman chart, flightradar24 and earth.nullschool.net to identify contrails that seem to defy the laws of science. When you see a plane leaving a trail, head over flightradar24 and take down its altitude. Next, head over to earth.nullschool.net. Click on the area of the globe you are located in (where the plane you spotted is located) . Click on the text earth and select either 500Hpa (16,404feet) or 250 Hpa (34,448feet) depending on the planes altitude. Next, select RH for relative humidity. Now you have the information to plot a point on the Appleman Chart . Notice how >%90 of the time it lands outside the area of where science says contrails can even exist? let alone persist, or spread..? What a joke..! (p.s. Im aware this type of engine is built in way that contrails are rarely produced as it is.)
