Usually it escapes my notice because it is really all weve ever known. But as I take a gazillion pics, sometimes when I glance at the kids, or when I sign S.Bonaparte-LaTorre; it hits me that weve been together for more than half of our lives. That when I was my daughters age, I was already head over heels in love with her Dad. That the person who used to meet me at my locker in the morning is the same person that I come home to every night. That there are so many ways that this could have all gone wrong but somehow, over the years, we figured out how to get it right.
