VA VA VOOMMM [...] GOOD MORNING INDONESIA INDONESIA NATIONAL COSTUME in the world (MISS EARTH, 2014) one of the competition in the Miss Earth in 2014 (in Manila, Philippines) is a national costume parade. Indonesia which also took part as one of the contestants in the prestigious event, also not to miss show off its best national costume. National Costume The Glory of Sparkling Minang imposed by Sik Asik Ananda Nusyirwan official national costumes are specially designed by Roemah Sewing Olanye (OLANYE) Designer Eco Tjandra. This costume symbolize splendor, Glory, and sparkle to Ranah Minang, West Sumatra. The costume is made from a Woven Songket Silungkang which hung down has the best quality luster gold thread and also contains motifs typically various aspects of philosophical and everyday life such as the sacredness, the beauties, diligence, thoroughness, and patience. The Orange base color is chosen to indicate the Sun continue to shine sparkle and become a community animator ranah Minang. While the Golden carvings, stone, diamonds and glittering beads symbolize the wealth of natural resources that come from the land of Sumatra. Various other ornaments which shows the cultural diversity is typical of West Sumatra are reflected clearly in this national costume. Suntiang womens Crown symbolizing the Minangkabau, with golden ornaments were neatly arranged. The lowest layers there is a row of flowers, there are also flowers sarunai, gadang, a rocking flower ornaments dangling, furthermore there are also rows of banana trees to symbolize a womans independence, because the banana trees are considered can grow anywhere, always bear fruit without knowing the time and are not easily die. On top of the suntiang there is a miniature Jam Gadang which was the milestone unity and pride for the local community as well as being icons (the landmark) in Bukittinggi, West Sumatra Province in particular. At the hands, waist and also the fan symbolizes Houses Gadang which is the symbol of unity and democracy, stands with the magnificent, sturdy and inhabited by the people of Minang orally. There are also two peacocks on the shoulder that has philosophy as the protector and the epitome of beauty/immortality in addition also expected to maintain diversity, bringing new ideas, and life stability.
