The successful candidate will be required to sign a performance agreement. REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12 or equivalent qualification. Skills and Competencies: Computer literacy (MS office); Communication skills (written and verbal); Ability to work under pressure; Interpersonal relations; Ability to work on a switchboard; Good human relations; Accuracy and attention to detail; Ability to manage conflict situations effectively. Key Performance Areas: Handle all incoming and outgoing calls, as well as convey messages; Test the switchboard consoles; Update departmental telephone directory; Ensure proper maintenance of the switchboard equipment; Prepare the telephone printouts for private calls and keep records and statistics thereof; Report faults and keep files for miscellaneous post; Attend to general correspondence of the master’s office.
