VACANCY FOR HUMAN RESOURCE & ADMIN MANAGER Global Properties (Gambia) Limited Applications are invited from suitably qualified Gambians to fill the vacant position of Human Resources Manager at Global Properties Gambia Ltd. Applicants must possess a first degree in HR or relevant field and have 3 years post qualification experience in a similar level position. Applicants must be between the ages of 25 to 40 years. Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. The salary package is negotiable and very competitive. The applicant should be ready to take up position within 30 days of appointment. The responsibilities of the position is as follows: ➢ Manages) the day-to-day operations of the human resource office (in order to deliver an effective and efficient HR service to Global Properties staff). ➢ Manage the administration of the human resources policies, procedures, programmes and processes to ensure that they are accurate, up to date, effective and where appropriate, conforming to the labour laws of The Gambia. ➢ Manage staff recruitment processes effectively to attract talented staff that has the best qualifications, skills, experience and knowledge to succeed in the post. ➢ Manage the employee Induction process, to maximize staff awareness of their working environment and optimize their performance ➢ Manage the staff evaluation and performance management processes to optimize staff performance, accurate evaluation and appropriate reward for high performers. Also manages separation processes. ➢ Manage employee provident funds registration process ensuring all staff are registered and benefit from the fund. ➢ Manage medical insurance to ensure that all staff have access to the medical services contained within the policy ➢ Keep all HR processes on the HRMS system up to date and electronically filed to facilitate easy access to up to date HR policies and procedures ➢ Manage employee safety, welfare, wellness and health in a way that complies with Global Property’s policy and the Labour Laws of The Gambia. ➢ Manage employee relations constructively in order to avoid misunderstanding and conflict over employee Terms and Conditions of Employment. ➢ Manage security of the company by ensuring that staff fully understand and agree to the security and confidentiality clauses contained within their contracts ➢ Manage the Attendance Management Application to ensure up to date and correct staff hours are recorded to facilitate appropriate staff reward. ➢ Manage the HR manual filing system in order to keep all staff records up to date and in accordance with the HR electronic files.
