VACANCY! VACANCY! POSITION: CREDIT/LOANS OFFICER (3 positions) Role: To carry out the Sacco’s credit functions efficiently and effectively and ensure adherence to credit policy and procedures. The main responsibilities revolve around loan credit appraisals, disbursement of loans, recruiting of members, attending code groups, ensuring members information is accurate and up-to-date and ensuring timely loan repayments. Qualifications • Diploma in, Commerce, Business or Finance related field. • Computer skills, adept in use of Ms Word, Excel, Acess, PowerPoint, e-mail, internet and intranet. • Must have at least 1 year experience in a financial institution in Credit operations, with proven result track record. • Must be aged 25 years and above. • Must be a professing Christian. • Must be willing to work at any branch that he/she is directed to. Competencies / Attributes: • Job skills: understand the Sacco societies ACT and Sacco related operations and have high levels of professionalism • Able to understand and implement credit processes of different Loan products • Demonstrate a high degree of sensitivity, confidentiality, and integrity when dealing with all people. • Management and leadership ability: Have excellent interpersonal, organizational and people management skills. • Personality: results oriented with excellent social skills and ability to interact across all levels of management. A forward planner with clear focus, mature, reliable, hardworking and able to work without supervision, ardent team player with a keen eye on detail. • Honest with impeccable integrity, reliable, outgoing and hardworking. • Strong analytical skills. • Must be a focused team player.
