VEGAS PLAY BEGINS TODAY! Cool facts about the Major at the Riviera in Las Vegas, NV this weekend as part of the Skillcon Festival skillcon.org FIRST 33 players signed up so far for the Major (not a big crowd by Major standards but a unique and talented crowd), walk ups welcome, however must be a member to play in the World Doubles and World Singles tournaments for ACO the points on Saturday. We will have $5.00 Luck of the Draw events going on all weekend that are open to the public, plus there are three different open Doubles tournaments going on each day as well (you do not need to be a member to compete in these tournaments). The first of these open doubles is Friday evening December 26, 2014 with bags scheduled to fly at 8:00 PM _____________________________________________ SECOND 11 States and 1 International location will be represented at the Saturdays Doubles & Singles ACO Major. These are the states that will be represented this weekend in Vegas. California Florida Georgia Indiana Kentucky Maryland Nevada North Carolina Ohio Pennsylvania Virginia Ontario, Canada ________________________________________________ THIRD Highest ranked singles player in the World is #6 Frank Modlin from North Carolina will be in attendance. Highest ranked female player in the World is #1 Christine Papcke from Ohio will be in attendance. Highest ranked seniors player in the World is #4 Richard Stone from Ohio will be in attendance. A top Young Gun of Cornhole will be on hand from Florida, #76 Kyle Malone will be in attendance ______________________________________________ We hope more cornhole players from California and Nevada decide to attend, even if they just come in as fans of the sport. We also really would like to see some of the Arizona players decide to make their way down for some of the PITCHIN FUN going on this week at the Skillcon Festival at the Riviera Casino & Hotel in Las Vegas, NV Game ON!
