VERSION OF THE BOOK OF JOB Job 1. Job was a rich, blameless and upright man, fearing God, and fleeing from evil. Had seven children, and was very rich. Job 29- Continued response - good man. Who will return to be as it was when the light of God led me into darkness? When I left, the young man was hiding, and the old man stood up.
