VERY GOOD POINTS (proportionality), but incomplete reporting. One item not covered is why not preclude flights from west Africa for an extended period of time? Numerous countries in Africa have done this to protect themselves (they are prudent). Ben Carson suggested anyone approved to arrive in the United States with Ebola be directed to selected sites that are qualified (Emery and U of N Med Center). I may stand corrected, but I believe Obama/CDC stated hospitals are qualified. This may not be a lie, but it is inaccurate. We need accuracy, not incompetence. Among many protocol violations, the Dallas hospital piled refuse to the ceiling in another room, not knowing how to dispose of it. They were not prepared. On a related topic, if there is a Czar position to be created, it should be an INDEPENDENT audit czar, appointed from the private sector Big 4 accounting firms. Regardless of what party controls the 3 branches (BOTH Parties FAIL us), we need to restore trust in our federal government.. BTW, when is the last time the audit division of the GAO reported MAJOR fraud, misappropriations, lack of transparency, lack of accountability for expenditures from our federal income taxes (along with the debt raised to spend even more money on our behalf)? Also, is it true that the FBI confiscated all the records of Solyndra (precluding an audit of this solar panel company that received $535 million in government-secured Stimulus funds . . . that went bankrupt shortly after its inception? And whose pockets did this Stimulus fill? (just one teeny tiny, miniscule example why we need to audit the auditors with trusted, competent, private sector sources. The Big 4 public accounting firms not only audit smart, they generate value-added recommendations that would likely more than pay for their fees, . . . . that is, . . . if those federal agencies are competent enough to effectively implement those recommendations (of course, they could always outsource to competent, accountable private sector contractors). What say you? Please COMMENT.
