Syren has cancelled due to illness and instead we will be presenting a cornucopia of folk features this Sunday night at Norway House after a short open stage: Reverie is Holly Hurwood, Nicola Hestnes, and Stephanie Benbow. Natives of Sidney, BC they play folk music infused and stylistic of the singer songwriter genre, with great harmonies and pop-like hooks. Burke, Elies, Paul and Patty play songs from the folk-country-roots-blues repertoire that you don’t hear every day.
