VICS 2014 NAMM HIGHLIGHT: Danny Careys Paiste Signature Bronze Custom Cast kit is on display @ the Paiste Cymbals booth. This unique kit was manufactured by master drum tech and drum maker Jeff Ocheltree. The kit is composed of custom cast bronze shells 3/16 thick and made from recycled Paiste cymbals. The bass drums alone weigh 93 pounds each, requiring specially made front-loading cases to enable transport. Danny (Fans of Danny Carey) used this kit on various U.S. tours with his band Tool.
