Weather Situation A cold front near the Bight will reach western Victoria on Wednesday evening and then cross the State during Thursday. Damaging north to northwesterly winds around 60-70 km/h with peak gusts of 90-100 km/h are forecast for parts of the South West, Central, West and South Gippsland forecast districts from Wednesday morning, extending to North East and East Gippsland forecast districts during the day. The strongest winds are likely to be over elevated parts with wind gusts up to 110 km/h possible there.
