VIDEO: Donegal County Council has completed the delivery of over 500 tonne of stone to various sections of the Sliabh Liag Mountain Trail by helicopter was completed ahead of schedule today. The works had been scheduled to take 7 days, however, the favourable weather conditions have meant that all deliveries were completed in less than 5 days. In the interests of health and safety restrictions were put in place on some sections of the walking trail on Sliabh Liag, however, the full length of the trail has now reopened to the public. Path repair and construction works along the path will continue over the coming months utilising the stone that was delivered by helicopter.
