VIDEO PROMOTING BASQUE CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE in resistance to further mass trials of Basque political activists. Those 28 on trial now were first arrested in raids in October and December 2010. They are accused of membership of SEGI, a youth organisation of the Abertzale Left, classified as a terrorist organisation in the Spanish state and in the EU. However, evidence of NOT ONE SINGLE TERRORIST ACT will be presented against them (unless it is statements obtained by torture and which they withdrew as soon as they got to court). Their crime is to be politically active. With the human wall civil disobedience movement, a recent innovation by Basque youth, those targeted for arrest or sentenced to prison appear in a public place, surrounded by masses of people in solidarity, day and night, forcing the police to remove their supporters one by one until they reach their victim. The Libre movement is preparing for this action to be staged in Loiola, in the southern Basque province of Gipuzkoa, about two-thirds way from Bilbao to Donosti (San Sebastian).
