VIRGIN ISLANDS WEATHER SUMMARY-A broad trough is expected to deep over eastern North America and the western Atlantic during the weekend and early next week. This is expected to result in a gradual increase in moisture. However, it does appear that this increase in moisture will manifest more in the form of clouds and not so much rain. For today, isolated showers are expected but mainly across the local waters. Temperatures will be reach the upper 80s both today and Saturday. Across the coastal waters, seas will average five feet with winds to 17 knots (19 miles per hour). Winds and seas will diminish during the weekend.
