When the wrong people leave your life, wrong things stop happening in your life. The story of Jonah in the Bible is very good example. God had given Jonah an instruction but he wanted to run away and he got on-board a ship. There came a heavy storm that threatened the life of everyone on board; Jonah 1:4 “But the Lord sent out a great wind upon the sea, and there was a violent tempest on the sea so that the ship was about to be broken.” One amazing thing that happened was that Jonah (Who was the main culprit) was sleeping while all these terrible things were happening; Jonah 1:5 “Then the mariners were afraid, and each man cried to his god; and they cast the goods that were in the ship into the sea to lighten it for them. But Jonah had gone down into the inner part of the ship and had lain down and was fast asleep.” Most times, the wrong people in your life might not be the ones suffering the consequences. Thank God they were able to do the right thing by getting rid of him; Jonah 1:15 “So they took up Jonah and cast him into the sea, and the sea ceased from its raging.” It was an immediate relief. What would have happened if they had not thrown Jonah into the sea? They would have all perished. But Jonah himself would have been preserved in the belly of the fish. So the wrong person in your life might not be the one to face the consequences, but you will be the one facing it. A wrong person in your life might end up drowning you in the sea while he/she would be preserved. Get rid of every wrong person in your life; get rid of everybody that will not help you live a glorious life in Christ; get rid of everyone that will not help you fulfill your destiny. When the wrong people leave your life, wrong things stop happening in your life.
