VISHAL BHARDWAJ WAS LOOKING AT GREENER PASTURES MUCH BEYOND PEER PANCHAL 1. War is a serious business and not for faint hearts. 2. Armed Forces are dangerous tools not to be entrusted to fools. 3. Maqbool and Omkara were made with underworld and politicians in backdrop hence the scholarly psychological intricacies of Shakespeare could be brought out in finer details. 4. J & K , Terrorism and Kashmiri Seperatist Movement is a much serious matter to be converted into a backdrop to explain finer aspects of OEDIPUS COMPLEX and make a movie out of Shakespeares HAMLET ,then call it HAIDER and involve seperatists and Indian Army in the story. 5. Vishal Bhardwaj may be a great intellectual and India may have unique liberal rules on freedom of expression but certain things will always have BOUNDARIES. 6. Indian National Intetests can not be subservient to false sense of Freedom of Expression. Every thing is good in limits. 7. Vishal Bhardwaj could very well have stayed in Mumbai and give as many colours and interpretations to his Shakespearean Oedipus Complexes as he liked. Was there a dirth of material in B Bay where every thing goes ? 8. No. He had an agenda. He was not working on Shakespeares Helmet or intellectualism as much as he would like to claim. He was looking at greener Pasteures much beyond PEER PANCHAL. 9. Gen Ata may see the movie and then comment but I had these views before release of this movie by reading about it and ofcourse now after release they are confirmed. 10. I shall be open to contrary views if refuted based on point to point basis ofcourse.
