VISION 05/08/14: WATCH YOUR MOUTH!! While in prayer today I saw a manhole cover in the street that was opened up and out of it came the fires of hell. I saw two holes on the iron plate that were used to open the lid. I asked the Lord what this was and He said it represented peoples mouths having unholy conversations. When two people talk in the carnality of the flesh concerning certain things, people or issues they can empower evil and death over those things. Our mouths if not yielded to the Holy Spirit and the Word of God can be used to open up a manhole that can devour others giving a place for evil. On the flip side, when we order our conversation aright and speak in self-control and motivated by the fruit of the Holy Spirit we can unlock the holy fires of God to touch, bless, encourage, strengthen and bring life to things and people around us. The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit. Proverbs 18:2 With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings, who have been made in God’s likeness. 10Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be.” James 3:9-10
