VISIT TO MARIBOR CHAMBER OF AGRICULTURE Monday January 12, Deputy Head of Mission Paul van Oostveen brought a visit to the Maribor Chamber of Agriculture and Forestry. Discussed were possibilities for cooperation in the field of transferring Dutch greenhouse expertise, exchanging agricultural professionals and other know-how that could benefit Slovene agro- and horticulture. The meeting at the Chamber was followed by a field trip to several farms in the vicinity of Maribor. There, fruit and vegetable farmers spoke about the challenges they were facing as well as the rich diversity agriculture in Slovenia has to offer.
