VOCALOID3 Questions Answered No.2 As previously mentioned, we will be answering some of your questions posted in the past. Thank you for your participation! Q1: Are (VOCALOIDs) going to be available on Linux? (question from Rodrigo Kbal) A1: We are not planning of releasing Linux version of VOCALOID at this moment. Q2: Will you feature here in future songs from overseas vocaloids too? (question from Pavel Vu) A2: We will be announcing something that may answer to your question very soon. Please be waited! Q3: How were the type of parameters decided such as Breathiness(BRE), Brightness(BRI), Clearness(CLE), etc.? Were there any parameters that were planned but was scrapped out? (question from Jack Ung) A3: We will ask Mr. Kenmochi about it, and will answer back to you here in the near future. Q4: Will there be any possibility to get iVOCALOID in the overseas market? (question from Adrian Noapellido) A4: We will positively consider regarding this matter, since there are many requests and questions of the same kind, though it may not be realized. Q5: Will you return the Resonance Parameter and Palette Icon (both from the V1 engine) in future VOCALOID versions/updates? (question from Ana Perez) A5: Again, we will ask Mr. Kenmochi and will answer you back regarding this matter. Q6: How many VOCALOID all in all? (question from Ryota Kise) A4: First of all, please note that our answer is separated for each version of VOCALOID. According to our site (vocaloid), there are 23 Japanese VOCALOID3 libraries and 9 overseas libraries available at the store , excluding the same product with different voice type. For VOCALOID2, there are 14 Japanese libraries and 5 overseas libraries. For VOCALOID(1), there are 2 Japanese libraries and 3 overseas libraries. Please also note that library which is not for sale is not counted (i.e. galaco). Again, thank you for your participation!
