VOD 06/19/13: He Is Looking For You. Verse: Luke 19:10 For the Son of man has come to seek and to save that which was lost. Thought: Just prior to this, Jesus had an encounter with a rich young man who wanted to know the conditions to inherit eternal life. When told in effect that one of the commandments was ‘You shall not covet,’ he turned away, unable to comply. He had the Pharisee morality of abstaining from evil rather than a complete experience that also resulted in doing good. The best proof of our conversion is our conduct after we are saved. Those who know us will be able to see the difference in our lives. Prayer: Our Heavenly Father, Thank You for this day and all of Your blessings in our lives. Abba Lord, have Your Holy Spirit instill in us the desire to help those who may be less fortunate than ourselves. Forgive us where we have failed You and help us to be alert to every opportunity to share Your goodness with others. Let our conduct be an inspiration for all to see so that they too would wish to get to know You better. We lift our prayers up to You in the Name of Your Son, Jesus the Christ...Amen.
