Vacancy - Technical Writer Corporate & Marketing Communications 2 Year Contract Technology Park Malaysia Job Responsibilities • To analyse, develop, update and proofread technical publications, manuals, brochures, marketing tools for various software and hardware projects to ensure conformity to the technology companys publication standards and meet quality and timeline requirements • To ensure all publications are effectively communicated and well-understood by a wide range of audiences • To work closely with project managers, marketing teams, development groups and other respective departments to plan, develop and update assigned content • Significant technology knowledge and content development skills must be developed and maintained, as well as staying abreast of changing ICT trends and technologies • To deliver other write-ups related to technical publications and jobs delegated by the supervisor or Department Director Job Requirements • A degree in English with technical background OR an Engineering/IT degree with technical writing qualification/experience with at least Second Class Division or equivalent • Strong command in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia • At least 2 years of experience with good technical writing portfolio • Analytical, good team player, and able to work with different kinds of people at all levels • Must be familiar with Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat Key Skills • Excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia • Technical writing • Good communication skills • Microsoft Office • Adobe Acrobat or similar tools • Desired: Adobe FrameMaker, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign Interested?
