Yellow jackets apparently thought Buddy was as sweet As I do and he literally got attacked yesterday as he was cutting grass .He ran over a nest of them and they attacked! He ran in screaming as it hurt , and they were still on him , got stung Again inside .After sending everyone upstairs throwing his clothes And shoes outside we killed 4 more that came in with him. He was lucky in that he only got 3 stings . But it hurt and for those if you who know Buddy it has to hurt BAD for him show it. I gave him Benadryl immediately . Put ice on the spot that was swelling and got my EPI pen ready just in case, as he does have allergies they we have treated since he was 4. Be aware friends , know what your child may or may not be allergic to , it takes one call to an allergist they can do tests to see and you can be prepared . Always have Benadryl and ice packs on hand. Buddy is fine just sore , bless my sweet boy❤
