Valentines Day to Presidents Day...sauce made from last summers frozen crushed tomatoes to brighten another patch of unrelenting snow; gluten free italian dinner at Nizzas during Saturday night storm watching bicyclers trying to return rented Citibank bikes on 9th Avenue; Monuments Men..gosh, I love a good old fashioned movie..; Tod Machover DEATH and the POWERS HD simulcast at National Opera Center..the last duet between Simon and Miranda a sublime and lasting moment. It stays with me...; back in beloved New Haven...in time for just a bit more snow...oh yeah and no school until Feb 24...please lets get the last of the snow on the ground soon.
