Valley Friends ~ The time is RIGHT NOW to make the developers pay more for school impact fees in North Bend. 500 homes are going in over the next several years (yes, all around my house). Having a last name starting with W, Molly has locker #476 and it is OUTSIDE at the Freshman Campus (my class at MSHS in 1990 was only 180 kids!!). First time weve also ever had a kid in a portable at Opstad. The Districts overcrowding problem and lack of planning is well known out here and its going to get worse. YOU need to write a letter to the City Council by Oct. 6th OR speak at the Council Meeting in person on Tuesday the 7th. I know you all will complain about this later when your taxes go up (IF we can even pass a bond this time). Who do you want to pay? New people moving into the district causing the population influx or those of us already living here? One way or another, it is going to have to get done and I believe our City Councilmembers really do care about this and are listening.
