ValuesIndia.org invites schools and students of class VI, VII & VIII to participate in the Human Value Awards Essay Competiton. Students are expected to write an essay on an incident that actually occurred in their lives, wherein they demonstrated any human value like compassion, honesty, persistence, leadership, dedication, courage, love for animals, patriotism, responsibility, justice, humility, gratitude, equality, forgiveness etc. Essays can be written in any language. Spelling / grammar mistakes are ignored during evaluation. Assessment is conducted in two stages, written entries are screened in Stage I and selected students are interviewed in Stage II. Evaluation is based solely on the depth of the incident and the student’s role in it.
