It was constructed in the period of 1050-1075 AD by the Chandela Rulers.The vamana temple consist of a mandap and garbha graha which contains the drawf images of vamana, an incarnation of vishnu. This temple also has no pradakshina around sanctum. It is situated about 200 meters to the north-east to Brahma Temple. Around the temple are two band of sculptures with almost 3000 figures. The exterior of the temple has double walls with intricate carvings of apsaras in various sensual poses & musicians, dancers, women preening in front of a mirror, etc.
