Vegetarian-For-Life Day 18: Ms. Aliyah How fitting for Day - TopicsExpress

Vegetarian-For-Life Day 18: Ms. Aliyah How fitting for Day 18 ( #9 the number of completion) of my health post to be dedicated to an amazingly beautiful and knowledgeable woman who influenced me to change my eating habits and honor my temple. While in the store today, the UNIVERSE allowed our paths to cross after having not seen or talked to each other in almost four years. Ms. Aliyah was my mentor, dietician, health counselor, chef, and friend. She helped me a great deal during both of my pregnancies and prescribed a vegetarian diet that was healthy and nutritious for both my unborn child(ren) and me. She was also my private chef and dietician when I travelled. Whenever I had to go out if town on a business trip for an extended period of time, she would always prepare all of my meals. Ms. Aliyah was so knowledgeable and full of wisdom. I would go to her restaurant (Strictly Vegetarian) almost everyday and talk to her about almost everything. She was (and still is) a very beautiful woman, and her spirit was equally, if not more, beautiful than her physical appearance. She taught me about cleansing, juicing, meditating, herbs, and conventional medicine alternatives. I truly respect and love her so much for being a trailblazer in helping to educate our community on how to eat healthier. I am truly thankful that GOD put her in my life. Heres to you Queen Mother, Mentor & Friend... I love you Ms. Aliyah! Gods peace be unto you! - Nia
